If you're like me, you're sick and tired of hearing fake entrepreneurs share blogs, podcast interviews, and social media posts about how they're making hundreds of thousands of dollars with ZERO effort from the internet while sitting on the beach all day long (without getting sunburn).

Pounding the Pavement is a live business course for entrepreneurs that have real responsibilities and need to make money today -- not three years from now when that YouTube channel finally picks up steam. While others will continue listening to pie in the sky advice that doesn't actually make money, we'll talk about what really works and how you can generate leads and close sales to keep your bills paid month after month.

What I am not: - I am not a guru
    - I am not a ninja
    - I am not a millionnaire
    - I am not an online influencer

    What I am:

    - I'm an educated business leader with an MBA -- that means I studied a lot of business case studies and did a ton of simulations on how to run multi-million dollar businesses.
    - I'm an entrepreneur who has sold wigs, jewelry, ebooks, consulting, workshops, books, online courses, and memberships.
    - I've worked hand-in-hand with C-level executives at small and large (Fortune 500) businesses and developed strategies to make the business successful. My tactics work.
    - I'm not afraid to pound the pavement to get the sales I need to reach my financial goals. I'll help you push past your fears to do the same.

(Note: 10 complimentary seats are reserved for WOD Impact Members. Please register only if you can make it to the workshop to make sure those seats are used.)

    Krystal Covington, MBA

I help businesses develop and execute strategic marketing and PR plans that enable them to reach new audiences.

My goal is to help you increase trust in your brand, which allows you to acquire customers more quickly. Together, we will craft a compelling story that resonates with your audience and share that story through podcast interviews, television features, articles, and thought-leadership content that reaches your target customers. Our work will increase the visibility, credibility and influence of your business in the markets you serve and help you generate leads that are ready to invest in your service the minute they call.

I have achieved hundreds of media placements for clients that include television segments on Fox, CBS, NBC and ABC, newspaper features, online mentions in publications such as Huff Post, Forbes and Fast Company, and podcast interviews on shows with 50k+ listeners. I have also personally been featured in numerous blogs, podcasts and publications.

Can I talk to someone about this event before I register?

Absolutely. Simply register for a 15 minute Q & A chat here and I'll hop on the phone to get your questions answered.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Our venue is located at the intersection of 67 and Pecos streets in the Midtown development. A large parking lot is available behind the venue.

Our location is also adjacent to a coffee shop/restaurant and brewery.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Contact Krystal at connect@krystalcovington.com for more information or to setup an informative call.

    What's the refund policy?

Please request your refund by October 26. After that, course materials and food will be purchased, so a $50 fee will be subtracted from your refund.

    Foundations of Financial Freedom

We all want to reach financial freedom but how do we get started? Many of us wonder how we can start saving when we are balancing debt reduction, home purchases and more. How do you prioritize what to do first? We’ll focus on basic steps you can take before you start investing to keep more of the money you earn, then we’ll touch on where it makes sense to start once you are ready.

    Topics of discussions include:

 What to look for in a high-interest savings account

 How to pay off debt efficiently (note: it is not necessarily the fastest payoff). We’ll discuss principles of debt reduction along with programs that can help you manage debt.

 Compounded Interest: why time matters in investing

 Which investment account to start with based on your current situation

When we are done, you’ll have clear action steps for what to do next for your path toward financial freedom.

"Transforming How You Transition" -- Staying centered in times of uncertainty

Whether it's personal, professional or global, change and transition can feel like weathering the storm, or waiting for the other shoe to drop. Not knowing if you can handle what's coming can be overwhelming, unsettling and at best unpredictable.

What if you could stay grounded, present, and aware in the face of chaos and change?

Whether it's in your family, your business, or the world at large... staying rooted in your values and  connecting with the people who matter most can dramatically shift How You Transition.  This experiential workshop takes you through a process of connecting to your strength, purpose, and natural resiliency.

Blending coaching, writing, and guided movement, we will explore:

    - Using the body as a resource to re-center and stay grounded when you're triggered

    - Relaxing into the present moment rather than forcing, worrying or overthinking

    - Shifting your mindset from reactive to responsive

This work can be especially useful before going home for the holidays and easing into the end of the year!

*Please bring a journal, pen and wear comfortable clothes to move in.

Cave Drawings: The new way to draw your way to success

Have you ever wondered how to make a big impression at work? Or make that big leap with your business?

Have you ever wondered how some people make it seem so effortless? One day they simply move from hustling (maybe like you) and then they jump right into a management/executive position or expand their business into new locations.

Based on popular demand, you may believe that the best way to move to the next level in your career or business is marketing. You must have to hustle harder, post more Facebook videos, spend more money on specialists, and hire that life coach to help clear out the chaos in your head (it gets you moving, no doubt). While all those items are a must, they are what gets you through the proverbial door to the stairs that will take you up to the next level.

The real secret, many times the hardest task, is something that is not always discussed openly. It is actually something simple, but a tad bit monotonous.

Yes, your solution to these questions is simple.
    Drumroll, please....

    Cave drawings!

In this workshop you will learn valuable lessons on how to use process mapping to provide the tools to help the business run more efficiently (getting you the extra WOW you need to get promoted), help enables you to hire, prepare your business to sell or expand, and can even create a purpose-driven life.

Join us in drawing out your future.

Identifying and Removing Toxins in Your Physical and Emotional Life

The interactive workshop will discuss how external toxins manifest internally both physically and emotionally, and how the internal toxins will grow/worsen if not addressed.

Toxins are everywhere in our environment such as in our food, water, and bath-beauty products, and they also show up in our relationships. They impact our energy, mood, health and well-being.

Join this workshop to gain knowledge and inspiration on:

    1) How to identify toxins in your  environment

    2) Barriers and obstacles faced when eliminating toxins

    3) Recognizing behavior triggers from the toxic load

    4) Strategies to overcome key obstacles such as hormonal imbalances, weight loss resistance and challenging relationships.
